The red plastic mulch supposedly gives a bigger crop of tomatoes. We'll see. It's kind of ugly. The blue bucket has either mint or catnip. I have three buckets full that I move around to chase off the flea beetles. It wasn't 100 percent, but I do know they weren't near as bad as in other years. They love the eggplant and so do I.
