Looks pretty messy but it works well. I have an area in the basement set up for seed starting, with grow lights. In 2006 & 2007 I started about March, but this year I plan to start shortly after the new year in 2008. The buckets I use to dig up plants to bring them in for winter. Left to right, purple fountain grass (survived), butterfly weed (died), lantana (is massive and the hummingbirds and butterflies love it).
