2006 peppers and eggplants. This was certainly the PRETTIEST vegetable garden I've ever had. I laid down the newspaper and topped with fresh straw. Wonderful mulch. However, I got invaded by leafhoppers and I still wonder if it wasn't the straw that gave them a haven.
